Mode 1: Select from Equations
1. Click on a Zog or the origin (orange dot) to show green dashed lines to the axes, revealing its coordinates on the grid.
2. Use the tracking sliders (y pos, x pos, slope) to preview lines and find one that passes through all Zogs.
3. Choose the equation from the list that matches the line passing through all Zogs (supports y = mx + c, y = k).
4. Click "Launch Shuttle" to rescue the Zogs. If correct, success; otherwise, try another equation!
Mode 2: Solve y = mx + c
1. Click on Zogs or the origin to display green dashed lines to the axes, showing coordinates via axis labels.
2. Pick at least two points and calculate slope m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1) and y-intercept c = y1 - m * x1.
3. Enter the calculated m and c values into the input fields (for horizontal lines, m=0 and c=y).
4. Click "Launch Shuttle" to send the rescue. Correct calculations rescue all Zogs!
Mode 3: Calculate from Points
1. Click on Zogs to reveal coordinates with green dashed lines to axes (note down two distinct Zog points).
2. Enter the two points as (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) – ensure x1 ≠ x2 to avoid errors.
3. Compute slope m = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1) and enter it.
4. Compute y-intercept c = y1 - m * x1 (or using point 2 for verification) and enter it.
5. Form and enter the equation as y = mx + c (or y = c if m=0).
6. Click "Launch Shuttle" – matching the Zogs' line rescues them!
